Celebrate Bastille Day — France’s historic July 14th national holiday — with an enchanting, outdoor culinary event held entirely under the canopy of Laurel Run’s orchard trees! The relaxed evening begins with apéritif hour featuring local cheeses & cured meats and slices of savory, slow-caramelized Provençal Pissaladière. Next, we’ll gather for a live, open-air demonstration where you'll learn the secrets to churning high-fat cultured French butter from scratch and mastering the precise knife work for Confit Byaldi — a visually stunning, layered Ratatouille showcasing peak summer produce. Then, it's your turn to step up to the board to handcraft your own premium Parisian Jambon-Beurre sandwich using that fresh, scratch-made butter, French ham, and crisp baguettes. Finally, pull up a seat to the outdoor table to feast on your custom sandwich alongside a perfectly baked Confit Byaldi, finishing the night with a warm, custardy Clafoutis featuring freshly harvested Ohio cherries! Guests are also welcome to bring their own wine or beer (we recommend Sancerre, Champagne, and Kronnenbourg 1664 for this occasion).
