Calling all cookie lovers, Valentine enthusiasts, and anyone looking for a creative night out! We are excited to welcome cookie baker & decorator extraordinaire Suzy Peck of Bay Village’s Peck Baking Co. for a night of decorating and skill-building on Tuesday, February 3rd.
As a cooking school, we love diving into the technical side of a craft, and Suzy is the perfect guide to teach you the fundamentals of royal icing. In this hands-on class, you’ll learn the foundations of piping and flooding to achieve clean lines and a polished finish. While you work, enjoy a complimentary Valentine-themed cocktail & savory dinner snacks provided by Laurel Run. By the end of class, you’ll head home with a half-dozen beautifully-decorated Valentine sugar cookies, a comprehensive recipe packet, and the skills to recreate them in your own kitchen (plus the memory of a great night with friends!). Space is limited. This course is designed for adults, but mature students aged 14+ with some prior kitchen or pastry experience are welcome.
