Don your finest hat and let’s celebrate Mom with a touch of Southern charm! This year’s Mother’s Day Garden Party at Laurel Run is inspired by the elegance and flavors of the Kentucky Derby. Sip on refreshing Springtime Mint Julep Punch and Hibiscus Lemonade while taking in a demonstration cooking class that highlights classic Derby fare, including delicate Benedictine Tea Sandwiches; savory Pimiento Cheese Deviled Eggs; and crunchy Brown Butter Derby Pecans. Next, we’ll tuck into the iconic (and indulgent!) Louisville Hot Browns, complemented by Spring Greens with Pansies, Tender Herbs & Laurel Run Vinaigrette. For a sweet finish, we'll enjoy Bourbon Praline Mini Cakes that make for the most adorable addition to our Mother’s Day celebration. Also during the class, learn the history of Mother’s Day as well as the historical significance of elaborate Derby hats. Treat yourself, your mom, daughter, or any of the special women in your life with this uplifting Mother’s Day Kentucky Derby Garden Party!
