





Kids in the Kitchen: Morning Brunch

Hands-on Class, Taught by Chef-Instructor Laura DePalma Isabella
Calling all young chefs! Join us at Laurel Run for a fun, educational, AND delicious hands-on cooking class all about morning brunch! Perfect for ages 8–16, learn basic kitchen skills and explore a variety of fresh ingredients and cooking techniques like egg cookery and making quick breads that can be easily replicated at home. Dishes include DIY Fruit-&-Granola Yogurt Parfaits; Creamy Scrambled Eggs with Herbs (picked fresh from the garden!); Easy Steam-Basted Sunny-Side-Up Eggs with Toast Points; Healthy Carrot Cake Muffins with Cream Cheese Glaze; and Orange-Brioche French Toast. Each student goes home with a printed packet full of recipes and techniques covered in class, inspiration and confidence to tackle cooking projects at home, and a full tummy!
