A Mother’s Day Garden Party

As done in the past here at Laurel Run, this year’s Mother’s Day Garden Party will be filled with “all things lovely” to celebrate springtime and the incredible women in our lives. Sip on a refreshing Pimm’s Cup while taking in a demonstration cooking class that includes Balsamic Strawberry & Ricotta Crostini; Crudités with Spring Herb Dip; and Cream of Spring Pea Soup with Mint & Crème Fraîche. Next, we’ll tuck into a delightful Almond-Chicken Salad on a Buttery Croissant, complemented by Spring Greens with Strawberries, Pansies and Laurel Run Vinaigrette. For dessert, enjoy Lemon & White Chocolate Pots de Crème. Also during the class, learn the history of Mother’s Day and all about the language of flowers while Marcia demonstrates how to create a Victorian Tussie-Mussie using herbs and blooms from the Laurel Run garden. Treat yourself, your mom, daughter or any of the special women in your life with this uplifting Mother’s Day Garden Party. Welcome cocktail is complimentary; guests are welcome to bring their own beverages, including wine and beer.
